Make Me Video helps companies and individuals promote themselves in a variety of visual venues. We create tailor-made broadcast quality media for corporations, non-profits and network broadcast companies.

Make Me Video also creates original logo wipes and animated graphics. We shoot archival documentations and produce sponsorship-based event video reels.

Our team is comprised of industry professionals with an extensive background in the creative and technical arts.  Collectively, our team has produced 38 episodes of documentary and lifestyle network television, 14 industrial promotional videos and over 200 web archival event videos.

John’s background encompasses the scope of television, visual arts and theatre. He has been at the helm of Make Me Video full time since 2012. Recent projects of note include editing “Perpetual Check”, a 20 minute video experience featured in the 2014 Stanley Kubrick Exhibition at TIFF (curated by Jesse Wente) and developing original series ideas that include Garden Tap (2017) and Sail Punks (2013) with the MMV team.
Credits also include season Editor of City Commando for The Cave (2011), AIA for AMI (2011) and Naked Archaeologist for History Television (2009). Original works include Co-Producer and Director for Yonge Street Stories (2012) and ArtDoc4 (2007). John’s past includes 6 years as Artistic Director of Construction Ink, a Vancouver-based independent theatre company that produced over 86 new plays. John studied video editing at George Brown College following an honours BFA from the University of Victoria. John was also the lead video consultant for TIFF’s major retrospective exhibition of David Cronenberg: Evolution.
Also, he once played Andy Warhol in a CBS TV movie-of-the-week.
